Here @ TDL, we are passionate about many things, especially unique, aesthetically pleasing, multipurpose pieces that add beauty, elegance and GLAM to your life! So when we discovered American Armenian metal designer, Michael Aram and his collection devoted specifically to the Pomegranate, we knew we had no choice but to tell you all about it! These are a few of his pieces from his collection that take its inspiration from the intricacies of form and texture found in foliage from around the world…it’s evident in the detail and precise craftsmanship in each one of his pieces that he’s a force to be reckoned with…
“For me, the shapes conjure a sense of freshness and fragility. At the same time the textures represent a metaphor for life itself … growth, vitality, pulsation. Pomegranates are a symbol of eternity, fertility, and plenty. It is an age-old image which crosses cultures and transcends time. It is as beautiful as a sculptural object, standing empty, as it is as a functional piece.”
We admire his focus and deliberate use of nature to create collection after collection of breathtaking tresors de luxe…luxurious treasures!
XO!
The pomegranate salt and pepper shakers are awe inspiring. I really love them. At first I thought they were rose hips. I would love to stock these on my E-commerce shop. Yes, they are very aesthetic and well elegant.
