Ask anyone, we love a good lighthearted, romantic-comedy. The kind of movie that makes you forget about your list of to-do’s and transports you to another place and time. Well you’re in for a real treat because this film does just that. It’s the 2006 film called, “The Holiday.” It manages to catch you by surprise with it’s unnexpected, witty humor, timelessy chic movie sets, star studded cast and brillant acting. So in essence, it checks off all the boxes!

The strange thing about this film is somehow it seems to have fallen under the radar. When talking to people about movies, more times than not, they say they’ve never heard of this film. Finding that hard to believe, we proceed to tell them all about it and still, not a glimmer of recognition. It’s completely underrated.

So just in case you’ve never seen it, now you know. It’s a perfect movie to snuggle up to with a bowl of hot buttered popcorn, soft blanket and your cozy, holiday slippers.
